Hi! I’m Tracy Levy, the lead planner behind Modern Mitzvahs. Since starting the company eight years ago, I’ve dedicated myself to creating unforgettable Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations that are equal parts joyful, stylish, and deeply personal.

This work is my passion — not just because I love the creative process (which I do), but because I understand how meaningful this moment is for your family. A Mitzvah is more than a party. It’s a rite of passage, a proud milestone, and a chance to celebrate your child’s unique spirit with the people who matter most.

WHO I AM

I come from a family rooted in the hospitality world, where making people feel welcomed and celebrated was a way of life. Later, I married into a retail floral business that now has nearly 45 years of experience in creating beautiful events. Together, those influences shaped my eye for design, my attention to detail, and my passion for celebrations that feel thoughtful, seamless, and totally personal.

Since launching Modern Mitzvahs, I’ve helped countless families bring their vision to life — whether that means building a theme from scratch, managing a dream team of vendors, or simply making the process less overwhelming. I’m here to guide you, calm the chaos, and make sure your celebration feels like you.
